Praying for The Nation
In September of 2020, the state of our nation was bleak. The economy was turning bad. And the national psyche was evil – when even a blaspheming President was lauded by blind followers. We have lost our moral compass as a people.
Even as I continue with my advocacies for good governance, I felt it was time to get down on our knees, as a people, in prayer.
2 Chronicles 7:14 would be the battlecry for this new initiative:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
I started a Facebook and Youtube Channel – HEAL OUR LAND MOVEMENT. Every Monday, I would livestream a pre-recorded video with a simple purpose – invite people to join me in praying for the nation.
After a year, and with almost 50 episodes, I suspended the broadcast, as I got more involved with the campaign.
But with state of the nation today, turning from bad to worse, it is time to resume this program.
When VP Leni declared that she was running for President last Thursday (October 7, 2021), it gave hope and inspiration to a people now in despair.
In this episode, we look for inspiration from the book of Esther, in our own journey towards the moral recovery of our nation. Like Esther, VP Leni was plucked out of obscurity and placed in a position of influence FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.
Ito ay hindi lang LABAN NI LENI. Ito ay LABAN NATING LAHAT.
This special episode gives tribute to a woman of character – Dinky.
She was unaffected by the taste of power, respected by all, and was full of courage. Her legacy 4Ps program has helped millions of Filipinos lift themselves up from the clutches of poverty.
Paalam, Dinky. Salamat sa iyong tapat na serbisyo para sa bayan.
He served with dignity and integrity. He gave so much to our nation.
In this special episode, we give tribute to President Noynoy Aquino by comparing his life to one of the most dominant figures in Scriptures.
